Welcome to the

Campbellsville Chrysalis Community!

Campbellsville Chrysalis is the youth and young adult segment of  the Campbellsville Emmaus Community. Are you a Christian youth who wants a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ? If so, Chrysalis may very well be for you! Chrysalis is a short course in Christianity especially designed for youth. Events for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors are called Flights. Events for high school graduates through age 24 are called Journeys. Over the course of a three-day period, you will meet Christ in a way that you never have before and will make new and lasting friendships.

It has information about being a Chrysalis candidate, sponsorship, and what happens when your weekend has ended. You should also consider purchasing the "What is Chrysalis?" booklet from Upper Room Ministries. It is a valuable resource that will answer any questions you (or someone you know) might have about Chrysalis, and it can be purchased for $4.00 from the Upper Room Ministries Bookstore.

If you are a high school sophomore, junior, or senior and are ready to attend a Chrysalis flight, you may download an application from our Downloads page. An application for Young Adult Chrysalis is also available, as well as a volunteer sheet for those desiring to work on a flight. Or, you may contact Lloyd Wilds at 270-789-4157 to give of your time, talents, and/or resources to the Chrysalis ministry.

Chrysalis #18 Set for February 16-18, 2008

The dates and location for Chrysalis #18 have now been confirmed for February 16-18, 2008 at the Tim Horton Camp at Green River Lake. The flight will be led by David Harris and Lana Bay. Please keep these two servants in your prayers as they are working to assemble their teams. Be looking in your churches and in your communities for high school juniors and seniors that you can sponsor for this flight. The plan is to have the roster nearly full before Christmas in order to begin planning at that point.
